We continue to try and provide a new GP Surgery premises in Tetbury for when the current lease expires and are pleased to have exchanged contracts on the land at Worwell Farm. We have been finalising our business case had been hoping to submit it to the Clinical Commissioning Group in June. Unfortunately there has been significant construction industry inflation caused by material and labour shortages and this has moved the cost of the project beyond the financial parameters that the Clinical Commissioning Group is allowed to approve. This is despite the subsidised land from the housing. This is a National issue and not confined to Tetbury. We have a proactive Clinical Commissioning Group in Gloucestershire and they are trying to find solutions. We will continue to work closely with them and will provide updates as they arise.
