It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr Ian Simpson, after battling a long illness.
Dr Simpson retired from The Phoenix Surgery in November 2015 after over 30 years at the Practice. He was a lovely man who was kind, fair and supportive alongside being an excellent and highly respected family GP. The strong foundations of the philosophy of care at Phoenix have much to do with his leadership over many years. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
